My biggest fear is losing my sanity by slowly opening up to thoughts which are considered socially-deviant or destructive. I worry this because I have an abnormal amount of curiousity compared to "the general norm".

I'm also terrified of being alone for the rest of my life and not accomplishing any of the goals I set out for myself.

And finally I'm afraid of dieing without people knowing what kind of person I really am.

And don't really have any fears, the only one I can think of right now is elevators.

I think it started after I watched "Speed" when I was little, ever since then one of the hardest things for me to do is step in an elevator.

My biggest fear is spiders. I hate them. They hangout in my basement and in my upstairs bathroom. I dunno what it is about them, but I can't stand looking at them or being close to them. When they are in the bathroom, I usually take a towel and whip at them until they fall off the wall or ceiling and then I stomp on them. If I can't get at them with anything I usually just ignore them and it doesn't bother me. Pictures of them don't really bother me, they just make me jump like someone jumped out at me unexpectedly.

ROFL I did that a few days ago...

...took like an hour speaking the words to the computer bot, then since the voice activation thing stinks, she couldn't find my number in the database, then I had to wait forever listening to Startopia music to get to a real person (female with very strong foreign accent) who I had to talk to forever, and whenever I made a mistake in the numbers she was telling me I hit backspace (which didn't work, so I had to go back and delete it. Then had to have her resay the numbers...

yeah, horrible, I feel your pain

I got a few fears, and a couple phobias.

First off, I'm deathly scared of dogs, mainly the big ones. When people walk by with one, I seem to tense up and shake immensely. I can't stand them at all. I think it's because when I was a kid I got attacked by a huge dog, but I can barely remember.

The other, "phobia" If you will, would have to be cars. I highly doubt if I'll ever be able to drive. I tense up and shake when any vehicle starts to swirve, go fast, turn tight corners, do single lane passes and you can see the car coming head on. It really freaks me out. I got in a car accident and just about flipped the car when I was little, I'm pretty sure thats why.

For fears, it would have to be about my anger. I've got a temper beyond all, and when it's fired up, it doesn't stop. So I'm pretty sure one of these days im going to rage on someone for somthing and not stop. The slightest things will push me over the edge, and it'll get me in shit. I can control it most of the time, but I never know.

And really the fact of others around me, not being 100% happy. I'm very wierd about that. I kind of thrive to try to make everything perfect. I'm skeptical about them getting hurt, anyone really getting hurt.

You would die if you drove with me. I don't swerve, but I take all corners as fast as possible. Merging onto highways at 60mph is one of the greatest feelings of all time, when you can just feel the car hugging the ground and the engine growling. Hell yes. It freaks the shit out of my wife though.

I don't have any fears 8) , well, not that I know of... :?

When I was very young I saw this episode of the X-files, where a red-eyed monster was lurking in any sort of darkness (from closets to wells, even simple things such as shadows  ). I referred to it as "The Red Eyes" (because it was the only thing you ever saw). If you ever saw the blood-colored eyes, you were as good as dead. After seeing this, I started to become nictophobic (if that is how you spell it :? ), which is fear of the dark. I was afraid that if I was anywhere near darkness the Red Eyes would get me  . But I do not fear the dark today (even though I still don't like being in complete darkness).

I also find huge whirlpools some what scary, especially those "black hole" whirlpools (where the center is open, and leads to darkness). But I don't know if whirlpools about 100 ft. in diameter could exist.

ah, yes, the cars

My biggest scare in the car was in my moms old car (hyundai pony), doing 120 km/h (75 mph) in 4th (was the max :( ), just passed a big truck on a brigde when i got to meet mr sidewind. I think the car blew atleast half a lane to the right  Damn light cars with no powersteering.

I also love driving at night, with all those truckers on cruise control too sleepy to see you and throwing their trailer to the right when you are just meters away from passing them.

but phobias, nah.

Today I realised I'm afraid of my PC exploding in my face. I heard a loud popping noise and it sounded like it cam from inside the room so I assumed it was a capacitor bursting in the PSU. I mean, think about it 240 volts of electricity pumping through cheap, taiwanese components (mainly capacitors) before it is converted to a safe to use 12V. I've already had one PSU explode in my face before... everything went blue and I was temporarily blinded only a few seconds, but FUCK it scared the shit outta me... Anyway, now when you shake that PSU, you can hear little dried up bits of electrolyte moving around... so I threw it away... Anyway, turns out the popping sound I had heard was fucking neighbours playing with their fireworks again... I think the father is a cop :o so yeah... I hope one of them burns their entire face off one day when playing with fireworks.

My biggest fear is dying and not being content with what I've done in life, if I'm lying on my death bed and I can say, fuck it I failed but at least I had damn good fun in life, I'll be happy and my life will have been worthwhile to me.
