hmm, one of the biggest worries in with me and my girlfriend is I actually want us to break up before a few months sfter this time next year... not that I want to break up with my girlfriend, I whish Id never have to, its just that yes were only 17, if we are still going strong in a year and a bits time... what then. being deepply in love with someone could really fuck up university choices or gap years... Id hate to choose between a university and someone I loved. well who knows what the future brings. maybe will break up in a few months! I guess you never know till it hits you...

yeah, it's the classic dilemna. Most crucial thing is to see how things go - both of you, don't expect it to end or expect it to last. You just have to take things as they come, and both resign yourselves to the fact it might not work out....expectations are always the worst thing. Play it by ear and let that which will be, be. In the end it'll work out less painful, either way it goes.
