I have heard a lot of mixed things about it. A lot of papers panned it, which i can not see how that could happen. I am never one for listening to reviews by "profesionals" anyway. I woudl ather take the word of people likeme, who goes to see movies for fun and to enjoy the story.

Anyway, I am going tomorrow to see it and I am really excited. I will post again after I have seen the movie.

My English exam had a funny story in it about people not listening to the "professionals" wanting to figure out the "puzzle" for themselves. They found that an increasing number of bad reviews for a 'famous' / well known film actually increases curiosity! Which means you're being fucked lol.

but seriously, this is Indiana Jones, you have to see it no matter what people say.
same goes for Star Wars or something like that even though the last three kept disappointing again and again...

oh and I hate that tit from Transformers, so that's well... eh ...unfortunate.

I just watched it, and I have to say it wasn't as good as it should have been. I think the actors did a pretty good job acting, and it was decent "direction" from scene to scene, however there were many plot failures and issues I had with the way the story jumped in and out without any sort of orthodox element of focus. Toward the end, the "crystal skull"'s end up being crazy in the sense that it just doesn't make any sense.

He did a really good job this movie, which surprised me. I wouldn't mind much if he becomes the next indy.

I just got back from the theater... I thought it was good, but not great. These where some parts where I felt obligated to stand up and throw the Bull Shit Flag. Granted it is a movie based in fiction but still. I went into the movie wanting nothing more than 2 hours of fun, and walked out happy.

First off, let me say this: The movie is GOOD.

But nothing more.

It's simply not on the same level as the previous movies. The acting, ridiculous over the top action and stunts, and even the researching parts are well executed and welcome with open arms. But there's a certain point to scratch your head and say "Huh?" At first the crystal skull carried the same sort of aura as the Ark and Holy Grail, but then it sort of become something different altogether, and I didn't really enjoy the last third of the movie due to apparent plot holes; I guess I can still think about it and figure some things out. I just didn't like how much of a stretch it became and what the story finally climaxed as.

It's safe to say it's enjoyable if you throw all sense of rationality out the window, but looking back, some things just didn't sit right with me.

And that KGB girl annoyed me.

It's actually quite weird for me, how could Lucas nad Spielberg make such different movies:
Raiders of the Lost Ark and Last Crusade vs Temple of Doom and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
You could say they lost their minds, but the it would have been like Star Wars, after a certain point all movies were shit, but this is not the case here as Last Crusade was shot after Temple of Doom.

Just saw it last night. I though it was fairly good. Some stunts were unbelivable.
Highlight to read:
Going over a waterfall 3 times and living, or swining from vine to vine and catching up to jeeps.
However, the ending was a little weird.
Highlight to read:
Even though I'm a beliver in extraterrestrial life
All in all, I thought it was worth my time and I'll probably get it on DVD when i comes out. :D

I think this movie was an excellent execution of an absolutely terrible plot. All the shots were well done, everything flowed together pretty well, but the story made zero sense.

Blu-ray makes me sad, downloading burnable quality DVD's is going to take forever now because Blu-ray's are something like 36gigs per disc? Absolutely ridiculous.
