The director is ok. But he might pull something off with this movie, and especially with a big actor such as Mark Wahlberg how bad can it be?

Yeah I'm pretty impressed with the trailer, looks very Sin City/Frank Miller in style, which is perfect.

As for the winged creature thing, let's just hope it's a dream sequence, which it more than likely is.

I've been waiting years for this. Really hope it doesn't disappoint. Max Payne had an awesome story and the way it was told was equally as awesome. Sin city style would be perfect for max payne, this doesn't seem quite the same, but y'know, looks like they've got all the characters in there. As long as Max Payne narractes the story or something in all those beautiful metaphors like in the game, that'd be around about the awesome mark.
Those demon things must be some sort of dream thing, max payne had lots of fucked up dream like sequences so wouldn't be a surprise. =]

C'mon lets be optimistic for once, trailer didn't look half bad.

I'm thinking that the flying creatures might be a side effect of the V drug :)

The guy that falls out the window obviously isn't dragged out.

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm hoping for a badass funhouse scene. And lots of bullet-time shootouts (of which I saw none in the trailer... hmm).
i had fun once, and it was awful.

I really have to be honest, this just doesn't interest me at all, I just don't know why, as Randy Jackson says:

Will definatly see this.
Reasons:
1. Loved both games
2. Mark Whalberg (great actor in most vids)
3. BULLET TIME

make (or some equivalent), and you are astonished, then mortified, as you realize that the whole world is being

Mark Wahlberg sucks.
in fact such a piece of failure doesn't deserve the money, here read this

piece of shit wiki wrote:As a teenager, Wahlberg participated in several acts of violence and vandalism. He later claimed to have been in trouble 20-25 times with the Boston Police Department as a youth. By the age of thirteen Wahlberg had developed a serious addiction to cocaine and other substances.[3] At fifteen he harassed a group of African American school children on a field trip by throwing rocks (causing injuries) and shouting epithets.[4] When he was sixteen (again using racist language) after robbing a pharmacy under the influence of PCP, Wahlberg knocked a middle aged Vietnamese man unconscious, left another Vietnamese man permanently blinded in one eye, and attacked a security guard.[5][6][7] [7] For these crimes, Wahlberg was charged for attempted murder, pled guilty to assault, and was sentenced to two years in jail at Boston's Deer Island House of Correction, of which he served 45 days.[5][8] In yet another incident, the 21-year-old Wahlberg fractured the jaw of a neighbor in an unprovoked attack.[9]

So in childhood he was an asshole. And he went to jail for it. But he turned his life around and kept his nose clean for over a decade. So what's your problem?
