Max Payne film trailer.. I loved Max Payne 1 & 2 so I'll give this a watch.

why cant game movies follow same great story than whats in game.

The director is ok. But he might pull something off with this movie, and especially with a big actor such as Mark Wahlberg how bad can it be?

Yeah I'm pretty impressed with the trailer, looks very Sin City/Frank Miller in style, which is perfect.

As for the winged creature thing, let's just hope it's a dream sequence, which it more than likely is.

I've been waiting years for this. Really hope it doesn't disappoint. Max Payne had an awesome story and the way it was told was equally as awesome. Sin city style would be perfect for max payne, this doesn't seem quite the same, but y'know, looks like they've got all the characters in there. As long as Max Payne narractes the story or something in all those beautiful metaphors like in the game, that'd be around about the awesome mark.
Those demon things must be some sort of dream thing, max payne had lots of fucked up dream like sequences so wouldn't be a surprise. =]

Exactly what I was thinking. I'm hoping for a badass funhouse scene. And lots of bullet-time shootouts (of which I saw none in the trailer... hmm).
