I love this piece of music. It's so powerful and epic. I'm sure you've all heard this song several times but have never know it's name. Well, now you do.

Yeah. Opera only works if you can't understand what they're saying because the lyrics are flat out terrible. This is a pretty good piece and I really recommend the entire Opera. Very good stuff.

The whole of Carmina Burana is fantastic. I've seen it performed live twice and it was breathtaking and moving both times. O, fortuna is indeed epic but there are slower, more beautiful peices in there aswell.

Did you know the composition is named after a collection of scrolls they found containing poetry written almost 800 years ago?
