Meh, unsurprising. The prosecution could have stood up and said "Bippetyboppetyboo" and the judge would have delivered a guilty verdict. They never stood a chance, despite all their evidence, and the lack thereof provided by the prosecution, this was political.

Ah well, another nail in the coffin for the music industry. The court of public opinion does not judge these things well. Not that I'm for file-sharing, I'm just against shameless greed committed by an industry (and I'm talking more executives than creatives here) unwilling or incapable of evolving and adapting.

Very true. I wouldn't be too worried about this, even if I raged when I read the article on msn.

It's weird though, they are forced to pay 15 million dollars over a certain time, and if one of them doesn't have enough money, the others will have to pay even more to keep a certain amount of money payed.

They used that argument as a defence, not sure what responses it got though. I haven't read very much about the case.
