Here is my review:

Plot was useless, because you didnt come to see a plot, if you wanted a plot watch something else. This was all about huge things fighting, loud noises, awesome effects, and a hot girl. it was action packed, and a perfect flick for the summer to pump you up. The revenge did come alright, and i only saw the trailer.

I saw it a few days ago. A great movie indeed, much better than the first one to be honest.

It had more comedy, INSANELY good action, and the CG was all the better. I can honestly say that the Transformers movies showcase some of the best CG ever made in movies. The incredibly complicated architecture of the transformers and all the moving and rotating parts as they change is really something to appreciate.

Based on the plot from the first one, the storyline in this is a lot more interesting. You'll learn more about the history of the transformers, and the significance of their connections with Earth. It's not a complicated and cleverly twisty plot or anything, but I think it would be unfair to say it's bad.

Some parts were horribly corny in both the first and second and I'm not one for Hollywood trashyness, but wow those giant fighting robots accompanied by explosions were so damn awesome. A great movie indeed.

I agree that if you are actually looking for plot, then do not watch this movie. However, if you want to see great action and CG, then by all means watch it.

I used to watch the cartoon as a kid. I'm afraid that if I watch the movies now it will ruin what's left of that childhood memory. Megan Fox on the other hand...

Indeed a good movie, cg/action wise. I got kinda angry with the "hot girl" shit thats the main thing in most movies. So typical, but ofc fair enough :P Fun to wath.
http://features.cgsociety.org/story_cus ... ry_id=5145 Here's a little talk about the CG they did. Interesting read.

SPOILERS FTW

Too many secrets let out in the trailers. There's just too much stuff thrown in there, and it doesn't all make sense. It got really good up until (potimus idde) but after that the movie started to get boring really fast. And no, the revenge never really came. :?

The biggest problem (spoiler) that I had was the fact that two things never really had much affect on anything:

1. The big hulking suck-up-everything bot. (He gets to the top of the pyramid...then dies. LAME)
2. The sun sucker upper machine. (Never gets turned on, never even a threat!??? I thought that machine was gonna be some huge Half Life 2/Halo 2 portal that threatens to murder all of humanity, and optimus must sacrifice himself to turn it off or something before the sun dies. This never happens.)

Michael Bay is one of the most irritatingly awful yet successful directors in Hollywood. Not a chance I'm spending money on this movie. Big whoop, he knows how to hire CG artists and demolition technicians.

I saw this movie opening night, and my friends comments were more entertaining than it (Except for the lovely Meagan Fox, of course ) 95% of the movie were nonsensical hashed-together action bits, and one point they went from DC to a dense forest. Oh, but if that's not weird enough, this forest is apparently right behind the Aerospace museum. Who knew.
Don't waste money on this, it's not one tenth as good as the first.

The only good scene with Megan Fox was the scene that introduced her in the movie; when she was working on a chopper (not a helicopter). Those pants were so short, and that pose was incredibly arousing. It's like she was begging for a good raping. I think that her overall sexiness was upped, but it was utilized in small proportions compared to the first one. She's still freaking hot regardless.

I really didn't like the first. What could have been an awesome action movie was ruined by PG-safe (read: stupid) dialogue and a shitty teenage love subplot. Oh yeah, and this asshole. Can't stand him.

Not going to see the second movie. I probably won't even watch it when it comes out on Netflix.
