I totally forget the exact steps at uploading the video so it's "true HD." I think making it HD allows it to look good when in full screen mode, that's all.

BTW the map looks really nice.

Yeah when it is embed there isn't much difference but watch it on the actual youtube page and you will notice a large difference.

I notice a difference but I've seen HD videos that looks 1.5x better. Does Youtube support higher resolution than 1280x720? (1920x1080)

YouTube won't play 1080 video anytime soon my friend.
It scales down your real HD video into a flash-video format that's smaller in size and not as great looking... But that's alright, it's for the internet, and it's good enough.

HD has annoyed me in the past. Never been able to get the perfect settings despite all the different tutorials that all say different things.

From seeing your vid I can safely say I've seen a lot better. Some videos even let you choose from 720 and 1080. Wonder what settings they use.

Actually recently they released the ability to watch 1080 HD videos. Here's a good example.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLWubNiqL3k

If you hover over the "HD" button on the page it will give you an option of "720" or "1080". From there on you can right click on the video and click video info or whatever and clearly see the resolution is "1920 x 800"

Yes, it's not the same as BluRay per say, as there's no way they can have something with insane KBPS being streamed, but for the most part it definitely looks nice.

All i want is to take out the blur in my video. I've tried 10 different settings, but always give the same result. How on earth does a 1min31sec frap video (3gig) compress into 49 megs and still (HD). My understanding is the more compressed your video is, you lose quality. Is that right?

Yes. FRAPS records lossless, uncompressed AVI, which is why it's so damn big when you're done. Video quality has many aspects, resolution, bitrate, etc. Bitrate is important because the bigger it is, the more details there is in the picture. Obviously though the bigger the bit rate, the larger it is. Resolution is an obvious one.

In Vegas, trying tweaking bitrate settings, and try doing multiple passes on your videos. Yes, it'll take longer to render, but in the end it SHOULD look better.

Multiple passes = two-pass ?

Whenever I check two-pass, it crashes vegas when I start the rendering
