You mean that awesome scifi movie Sunshine? To be quite honest, I thought of that movie as soon as I started listening to Sunloop.

Yes. That one. It has some SFX from the movie in the song "Sunloop". Probably also why it's called SUNloop.

Pure coincidence I promise... tell me where in the film though, I'm a big fan of Sunshine and have the DVD, I'll check it out :)

PROOF.

I did some editing so you can hear it better. It's got it's pitch up in the song, but it's pretty much the exact same sound to my ears.

Blimey, yeah I see (hear) what you mean!
I even remember that sound clip from the film.
That bit of the track is Dean's bit tbh, the drone that builds in the background was my part, I'll have to check what films he's been watching recently...

Regardless a very soothing song. The best one by far. The main string in it, which is the best I can describe it also resounds from Sunshine's style, among other little bits and pieces. Really, this is almost a tribute to the movie. There's a lot of common, even the water dripping, which reminds me of the garden in the movie. Etc etc. If you listen closely and have watched the movie as many times as I have, I hear a lot of tie-ins.

I just watched Sunshine for the first time last night because you brought it up. It was awesome! Definitely makes Sunloop a hell of a better song now to me. Me likey.

I did the same thing as Mak, but I didn't really recognize any sounds from it except for a similar theme overall. Sunloop and Plan Nine are my favourites.

I did as you recommended, I removed all other sources of noise and listened to the whole thing without interruptions and distractions. To put it short: amazing.

Cheers Dewkl, Mr Chop :)
Regarding more... Dean's knee deep in other projects right now but we're hoping to get stuck into EP number 2 by the end of the year.
