I thought it was fantastic. The voice over was a bit meh, but it got real violent real fast :D

That little girl blew out so many brains in the most hilarious of ways. And I'm glad that McLovin' has a secondary role in the film.

Even Nicholas Cage did a really good job at looking like a bad ass, I was thoroughly impressed
So I showed her. Gave it right to her like I owed her. That's when I turned from Shrek the Ogre into Master Yoda.

Yeah Hit Girl was AWESOME! By far she was the best role in the movie. If I had a daughter, I would dress her as Hit Girl for Halloween. And yeah, Cage did do a great job. He totally sounded like the old school Adam West Batman. Too Funny!

As for it coming out in Europe... I would think it would be sooner being that the writer of the comic is from Ireland. I could be wrong...

From what I've read I get the impression of it being a movie that a) can't decide what it wants to be ("real people" being super heroes or just comic/tarantino action(without the "pro" feeling)) b) has bad action just for the fun of it. Honestly, it just seems to milk the "weak guy empowers himself" + over-the-top-action is funny (little girl kills and get beaten up).

Then again, I haven't seen it (and prolly wont).

I'm pretty sure it's actually already out in the UK. People on other forums were talking about having seen it a few weeks ago on another forum.

Going to see this today.

It was nice to see Nicholas Cage in a role that didn't stink, his character was by far my favorite. I'm not sure if I'm disappointed, but I find it strange how the movie starts out so realistic and end up being (unrealistic/over the top) like any other superhero movie.

Edit: Dionysos nailed it. That's exactly what the movie is.

For once Europe was first. This movie was released around march in Europe.

Ah, fair enough. Last time I went to the cinema was to see Shutter Island, and they don't trailer stuff that's out already.
