Soilwork is amazing. And I'm listening to... some new stuff by corey taylor, grohl etc. This song in particular is amazing.
You might appreciate it nub.
Then you might like this one too..
More melodic death metal or something.
http://www.nomoreroominhell.com I don’t know whether I was right or wrong, I guess I’ll never know… But I made it. And I guess I should be thankful for that. - Strelok Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?
The thing is, I'm really really REALLY picky about harsh vocals. Moonspell's harsh vocals don't appeal to me al that much. As far as the music and lyrics go, they're pretty decent.
Have you heard of Before the Dawn or Mercenary? They're my other two favorite bands. Before the Dawn is a bit more gothic, but I absolutely love them. Their songs have a very melancholic tone. Sadly, the band no longer exists and the founder Tuomas Saukkonen is starting a new project called Wolfheart. And from what he's revealed it's not my cup of tea. In fact, their last album "Rise of the Pheonix" really strayed away from their roots. It wasn't bad or anything, but it just wasn't BtD.
But if you're in to melodic death metal at all, they're definitely worth checking out:
Two tracks from their albums "Soundscape of Silence" and "Deathstar Rising;" respectively. Soundscape of Silence is especially awesome.
Mercenary is really good too. They mix melodic death metal, power metal, and thrash metal. Their lead vocalist is nothing short of incredible. He has one of the most insane voices I've ever heard in death metal. These are a couple of my favorite tracks:
From the albums "11 Dreams" and "The Hours That Remain;" respectively. I recommend checking those albums out, as well as "Architect of Lies," "Everblack," and "Metamorphosis."
