I just want to say hey and introduce myself.

My name is Orca [realname is Alex] and I have just got back into mapping. This time i'm taking it seriously and want to get a career in Level Design. Mainly for the source engine. Soon I'll start a small mapping team with its own website and then possibly start creating mods in the near future. I love to make maps for Counter-Strike: Source, reason is I also play it alot. I'm still learning the SDK but only the advanced stuff, I can still do heaps of stuff with the tool.

You're probably not going to get into the industry by using the Source engine for your information. Valve is pretty much the only company that uses it for commercial projects and you'd need a pretty damn good portfolio to get a job there. Although it's a great engine/community to just build up your skills and get into the modding scene.

I think it's a Russian/Middle Eastern type of food. Although I could be completely wrong. I've seen it the grocery store in the frozen section and it looks like a weird hot pocket type thing.

Chicken Kiev. It's basically a piece of chicken covered in breadcrumbs with garlic butter inside it.

Well I sorted know this already although I might be able to buy the license and build a mod like Left 4 Dead or some other that are out there. I'm just a mapper, I need a team first

(I won't slap you if you say I'm russian, I just like to correct people to annoy them. I am part russian.

And the reason I am posting this is because currently there's a bit of a tension between the ukrainian and the russians, and I am not in any way a ukrainian nationalist who hates russians. In fact, I am on the side of the russians.)
