Hello everybody,

I have been to this forum before but today I registered. I have been using Source SDK for almost a year now, I always map for counter-strike: Source but I have never finished a map because I don't have allot of time. But I like mapping, its like playing the game itself and the only limit is your creativity (and the source engine). I also have mapped with the FarCry2 editor, but I didn't like that one. Its good for terrain but to limited.

But now I want to do something different, like... Making a mod! The problem is that I don't know any programming languages, I know the basics from some languages like python and java. But a jong (handsome) guy like me is willing to learn such complicated languages But like usual there is a problem, I don't know what languages you need to know to Mod for Half-Life 2. I want to learn how to mod and when HL2: episode Three comes I want to make a mod for that.


Now a little about myself:
I'm a 15(almost 16! YAY) year old boy living in a peaceful town somewhere in Belguim.
My name is Senne and my friends call me Teddy.
I always use the same username if possible, I frequently see people that still recognized me from when I started gaming 5 years ago.
I recently (today) started to fitness, and beside that I really have no hobby's. I don't want to call playing games (And mapping) a hobby, its more something I do to relax myself.

So when I'm on my computer you can find me mapping or playing counter-strike: source. But I only play zombie mod because I suck and I hate being killed by 13 year old boys who have nothing better to do then playing this game for more than 5 hours a day and annoy players like us with there silly voice though there micro.
I also like to play HL2 mods, I prefer single player mods with a good combination from puzzles, action and a good story.

Counter-Strike: Source
Garry's Mod 10
Left 4 Dead(I didn't like the game very much).
FarCry 2 (Boring game, VERY repetitive).

I would want you to give me my computer spec but I'm to lazy to look for them now so I give you what I know. Its a 1 year old laptop (HP Pavilion dv9860eb) So if you want to know my spec, just search them on google. I'm going to buy a very powerful gaming desktop when I have money but I have other things to give my money on.
