Long time listener, first time caller

Hi, Over the years Ive used the great advice and resources Ive come across here at interlopers, although most of the time I never put the knowledge gained here to good use, i've recently started mapping for CSS.

After completing my first map, im looking into doing more advanced work and searching for guidance and help here, and to help as best as I can.

I did level design and level editing for C&C renegade many years ago, with my great love of CSS, i decided to get into hammer and learn how to work with brush's, renegade strictly used polygonal levels.

so if anyone can help me where google searches failed me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi I posted in level design about blocking a bomb from going thru a "floor door". I'm sure you've all seen when u plant a bomb at the ledge it drops below, sometimes it even suspends in mid air if the drop is too far.

I need something to collide with the bomb, but not players. I just tried a displacement mesh with only "no hull collision" and it still plants right thru it....i'm out of ideas.
