Greetings, I thought I would create an account here. I am a practicing level designer and I thought this site would be useful for mapping questions as well as showcasing my work and possibly even helping in the level design aspect of mods later down the road. Thanks!

Actually I do have a video of a map I made a while ago. It was my first real project I did in Hammer but I never really finished it. Keep in mind there are many things that could be upgraded and fixed and it was no where near finished but I still kind of like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLdu6zzhkvc

Don't want to sound condescending but thats really nice little map. You got talent, trust me. Most 'Newbies' have fail maps with basic geometry and full bright lighting.

Wow, Thanks! Like every mapper I did have those blocky, ugly maps when I first started but I never released them. Strangely though my maps were never full bright, I would just put a really bright light entity at the top of the map instead of a light_environment. Then about a month after I started I read a tutorial somewhere about realism and I just kind of played around with it using that theme and ended up with that.
