Sin City Effect in HL2 singleplayer/deathmatch?

Hey guys, I need some super quick help with creating a black and white filter effect for HL2, but one that also will let blood (or anything red if it's easier) still show through as red. I have no experience coding in HL2.

I'm sorry for being so hasty but i really need to know how to do this soon, think of it as a challenge! :wink:

Color correction is your best bet. Plus no coding.

Ok, got to the stage where i put in the color_correction entity to the map and recompiled but it still has no effect. My raw file is in:-

"C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\smileyousonofabitch\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\materials\noir_color_correct.raw"

(the bold bit is the actual file, for clarification).

So could you explain (better than the color correction entry on the valve developer community) what my exact entry should be for the 'lookup table filename'.

i would be so greatful for an answer to this, i'm about to build a trebuchet out of all the furniture in my room so i can catapult my pc into the bay!
