Splitting up the jump animation

Postby dennisdc on Thu May 17, 2007 10:46 am

I am working on a game where I would like to split up the jump animation, so when the player jumps, he will first play a start anim, then an anim during the jump, and then a landing anim.
Is there an easy way to do this, or must I go into the code, and if so, where ?

Wait..

you want to have three animations or add something to the middle? Because if you just want to add something you can edit the animation file. If you want to change the way they are played and accessesed then you will have to do both.

I have the three animations, but I do not know how to trigger them properly, so they follow each other, making the jump sequence look good.

I want to have leap-->fly-->land, so first the leap animation is played, then the fly, and last the land. But how to trigger them, I do no know.
