Compiling Shaders for source 2007

I wrote this really quickly for people having problem compiling shaders for the source sdk (2007 version). The valve wiki has a perfectly fine tutorial for compiling shader but it can confuse some people and so I tried to make this easier to follow.

Great stuff that gets them compiling. Any examples of a simple custom shader (sepia or nightvision) as the old tutorials for these dont work anymore :)

The examples I found only took some minor modifications to the c++ code to get working. I didn't find an alternative to so of the old functions (didn't really look) so just worked around them.

Anyway for a basic shader that changes the scene to be in black and white:
