It is, but I don't think I got as far as programming the quest bit yet:P

I'm trying to do something similar to this, I'm far too unexperienced though... stuff in this game of yours is something I could only dream of being able to do. Lol.

Can you find what I'm doing wrong? Whenever I choose 1 on main menu on my game it loads the end of the charactermenu ( the if statement) and whenever I choose 2 it shows the cout but then pops back to "Character name:", im so confused the two functions arn't really connected...

Well, dont you understand your own code? Go by it line by line and you'll see the problem. I could be more specific but tbh ive no idea what your problem is.

Well it doesn't play so far so not much can really be said. But I will say that a little formatting would can in handy, I.E. putting line breaks down and separating the outputs a bit more.

Also, what's the gameplay going to be like in yours? (curiousface)

Ye I noticed a lot of bugs with cluttering and stuff, getting it down though.

Haven't thought of the gameplay really... will probably make it a bit like mud/mush, you know with the "go north" stuff.
