Remove suit pickup animation

Postby andy4729 on Sun Jan 29, 2012 11:41 pm

Pretty simple I hope.

Where should I be looking to remove the suit pickup animation? Tried item_suit.cpp but don't seem to be able to find anything there.

Search "src\game\server\hl2\hl2_player.cpp" for "Admire". There is a bunch of stuff there about it.

You might by able to just comment out "StartAdmireGlovesAnimation();" on line 461 there.
Have a question related to modding or something I posted? Something that needs staff attention? I haven't been active lately, but feel free to PM me or message me on Steam(link below)

I know this was a while ago but I've finally got a chance to do it. It worked. Thanks Gary :)
