oh well, still sweet to talk (type) to someone who works for Codemasters.

I just popped by here to say that despite some minor server issues, I am loving NeoTokyo and that I am very jealous of your skills.

Thanks :) though to be fair to the NT team nothing i have done is in the current release of Neotokyo, i joined the project very late in the day and just did the one level which isn't finished yet, but will hopefully be a worthy addition to the NT maplist sometime soon

Dont be so modest, man. I'm sure you contributed some brilliant work to the project.

I've set myself a personal goal to be as good as you in say, 7 years. I've only just made my first, very basic fully functional map, and that was hard as hell. I cant believe some of the wonders you've made in your time as a mapper.

Pretty nice looking NT map you got there. I'd say the interiors are a bit dark, but with all the vision modes you get it doesn't really matter.

Thanks Dux :) The dark interiors are actually intentional as you pointed out, there's not a lot of dark maps in the current NT selection set so i'm giving the vision modes a chance, plus there's no area that's so dark in game you can't see what's going on without the vision modes, screenshots probably don't show that well

Nope, Codemasters don't make the Overlord series :) They just publish those games, much like things like Fuel, Damnation etc...the two main games actually being made by Codies at the mo are Dirt2 and Operation Flashpoint, though i'll only be involved with Dirt.
