Honestly Facebook is probably the worst place to ever host a portfolio. You should be careful of the kind of comments you leave on your page too, no big mod team or devs are ever going to take your work seriously if you have comments like:
"No go fuck yourself lmfao" readily visible.

If you take pride in your work, get a domain or get a free carbonmade profile.

The work itself, I'm not so keen on. And I'm not sure why you are so proud you made an archway, when it's not even the 'correct' way to make it out of brushes.

I will remove the comments i completely forgot about them when i published that.

I will continue to use facebook as i mentioned it's flexable and easy to share.

Also that arch method was taught to me by someone who has been building maps ever since worldcraft was released i do not see why the method i was taught is flawed ? Care to show me an example ?

Well.. Facebook might be easy to share, but it is nowhere near as organized as it should be. There's a reason people make their own web-pages for that.

Why not, after all this is a portfolio ... Why shouldn't i show an arch i have made, is it against the rules ?

No, but it doesn't hold much relevance to level design. You can just as well show off a well made arch incorporated into a map. As for your work, it's not bad. I'm not by any means saying it's terrible, it's decent. There's just not much that sticks out and really catches the eye. I would also suggest cranking up your graphics settings when taking screenshots, any lag that might occur won't be visible in a picture. :P

This isn't really a big deal, but the description would say differently:
"highly optimized and built perfectly."

it isn't, if it was just some thread I would have kindly pointed it out to him
but you don't put those sort of things on your portfolio.. not if you want to be taken seriously at least.

Ok well Sota beat me to it. That's essentially how you do it also if it were a model. There are less faces as the vertices are welded together.
It took me so long to reply because I first commented in my break at work, and then, you know, had to do my job and stuff lol.
