FragPegs.com Released!

Postby justinms66 on Sat Mar 15, 2008 7:00 pm

FragPegs.com has officially been released into a public beta. It has been through 9 months of coding by myself and a parter. It can be best described as a video game videos website :-). trailers, gameplay...etc. I would appreciate any feedback for it!
Thanks,
Justin

The coding is really good!but I don't really like the simple blue boxes, add some more detail to it rounded corners for example, otherwise you did a great job, congratulations with your site!

Nice concept but you need to work on the front end design some more. There is certainly too much blue on the page and it looks quite messy. You may find it easier to move away from using tables for your design elements as well. Much harder to re-design or improve.

Your partner being BigDog at FPSBanana? Either way, it's a basic look, but the functionality is definantly impressive.

Hmmmm...

Here's the problem, you could have the most bad ass coding behind your website. But if your website looks like something that was made in front page, the end user really won't have a clue a lot of hard work was put behind it. The front end design is seriously going to scare users away to other sites like Gametrailers.com, which looks a lot more professional for example. So my piece of advice on your new endeavor, hire a good webdesigner. ^^

Presentation is the number one key step to anything professional.

Much better, you really improved the usage of colors and shapes the only negative about it are the advertisements in the banner and the box with more adds but thats something that even Interlopers deals with so its just a small detail :D
You did a good job on making this site!, bookmarked!
