Website design.

Postby Massive on Mon Sep 15, 2008 6:17 pm

Well I was just messing around with photoshop, trying to make a website.

This is the result:

So what I is your opinion (What I could change etc...)?
And maybe someone that will code it for me or give me a very good tutorial so I can do it by myself.
Thanks,
Massive.

The style is pretty sexy, I love the motion graphics look. How did you make the flowers? By hand or public brushes.

I really like it, it inspired me to start a website/portfolio on my own ;)
The color combination is really nice, and the graphics look like they were made in flash or illustrator, which is a good thing, they look really smooth etc, how did you make 'em?

The only thing that bugs me is that bar at the bottom, I'd prefer the curved bit to curve on the bottom as well.

You can add your name under the links bar for example.

Looks pretty nice. If you're stuck without a coder, shoot me a PM and we can chat.
I design (v4.1 released 23/2) and Tweet.

Bring back the white navigation and make the font colour white in the content box.

I prefer the old ones. The navigation was better, the background colour in the old one was so much nicer, so deep :)

So yeah, I like the old one much more.

I like the older one as well. Design looks simple and to the point. :smt023

I like the new one but put the links back in white and divide the news content in the middle with

I agree with him :) change the nav buttons color back to white and get the old background back, for the rest it still looks sexy!

Definitely prefer the old. Something about that exact shade...try and get a colour close to that but just a bit more intense. The white nav links worked better too, they stand out better, although they could have done with a little more space above & below them imho

Agreed with the first one, and go with the white text. There will be a lot of people who will find the red on the black a strain to read. Looking good.
