Just saying: $3 can be a rather, if not large, then unnecessary amount of money to spend on a website if you're in the phase of learning/experimenting with HTML. I know enough HTML to make a website with different fonts, colors, images and links, I know I wouldn't pay 3 bucks for hosting something like that.

Yes that was very naughty of you. I hate the fact people can use the images I upload to my server and hotlink them. I only have 10 GB web traffic

Well learn it on your machine, you don't need a server to learn HTML. And if you do, you can install something like WAMP which installs PHP, Apache and MySQL all for you.

Yeah, I know, I was just using it as an example. It might be easier to show your website to others before it's finished, however. Just uploading it to some shitty free web host thingy, give some guys a link, and ask for comments on design and whatever. And when it's finished, you can upload to a real web host.

PS: Sorry if I'm writing a load of nonsene here; as I said, I have... limited knowledge of HTML. I really don't know what I'm talking about, I'm just saying what I think sounds like the logical thing to do:P
