Not bad design actually, a bit grey. Would suggest playing around with typography on the content area to bring a bit of life to it. Different fonts, bigger sizes and more line height etc.

I really like it, except for the green bars on the side of the blog type thingy. The green banner should stay in the center, not repeat on the edges.

Updated my original post with a working example.

Took in to consideration what you said about fonts and such, think it looks better now. But maybe missing something? Still get the dull feeling :(

Oh and ghost, that darn bar is what gives life to the site :P Well i like it atleast, but here's an example without it. Does it really look better?

tbh, it really a lot better. The original site looked like it was invalid for some reason, like the bar was bigger than the designer intended... it felt out of place to me

Looks pretty nice. A few things you might want to consider though.

:hover states for urls

More line height and letter spacing for the paragraph text.

A footer

Apart from that, it's pretty cool :D
I design (v4.1 released 23/2) and Tweet.

Threw in some line height and hover for urls, still working on that footer ;>

Dont be afraid to post comments and such, need every part of the site tested
