Didn't I tell you all before this was just made cause i was sick of crappy made versions of it for source and it is (well was) my favorite map... I was hoping for some honest critics to discuss this but your flames do bump it more so I am getting free advertising i suppose... anyone I'm sorry you don't like the map and maybe you will enjoy all my other maps I have made or am working on that I havn't released do to personal reasons... I am also part of a fairly well known mod that I will not name just yet... Thank you all for your replys and votes.

The reason I didn't name the mod is only because I don't want the mod or anyone on the mod team flammed just because someone or a group of people dislike me or my maps.

The whole point of this one is because all the other fy_iceworld maps made for source are just don't have the same look and/or feel of the iceworld for CS1.6 or CZ. So I made this one and I believe it is the closest thing to the old iceworld map(s) on the HL1 engine, but still having the CSS/HL2 look and feel.

we as a community just generally dislike fy maps. they often require less than mediocre levels of skill to produce. on saying this i would like to point out that there have been fy maps that look good and do require a fair amount of skill.
its not that we dislike you, its that we dislike fy_iceworld since it requires no skill at all to duplicate it, even if it was fun to play.

I totally understand that people dislike fy maps and that they don't take much skill at all to make... that's probably why this was only the 2nd map I have ever made and was just basically made to see what the hammer editor was all about and I always liked fy_iceworld on both cs1.6 and cz but there were no good versions of it for source so I made this one up real fast... after I post this I am going to use the bspzip program they released to fix the custom texture problem, and then I am going to re-upload the map to here and csbannana... so in other words if you want my custom texture included in this file, then you better get it now cause the new upload will have it compiled into the map.
