The models and textures are awsome, but the mapping isn´t that impressive. Actually I think the surrounding area could be much better.

Oh man you'd better have some evidence of something utterly incredible that you've made to be able to say that.

What would the map be without all custom models? Look at the house behind the moving red car. But I agree the map is awsome, thanks to the models and textures. The rest of the house is just basic brushes, square rooms.

But it's also quite realistic. We live boxy, generally, and they're going to create a machinima in it.

That is amazing. You cant say its boxy. you wont find homes with curves every fucking where. Im a carpenter, and you dont regulary make hi-tech homes. they are "boxy".
You click on Build or type
make (or some equivalent), and you are astonished, then mortified, as you realize that the whole world is being
recompiled and relinked!

Either that OR just make a completely new one, honestly hl2 would be so fun in multiplayer if only it was executed correctly.

Is it just me, or would it be a better format to have a sub-catagory in complete maps called great maps where only admins can start the topic, the topic will be based on 1 map, and have users actually rate the map for gameplay and visuals. If it had a +10 and -10 spectrum, anything in the negatives should be removed from the list.

As it stands, I feel like this would be a much easier way to maintain the "great maps" without the admin having to step in to edit the initial topic. Also, discussion on 1 specific "great map" would be great so we can discuss or debate why or why it should not be on the list.

Just my 2 cents...
