I almost shiat my pants after seeing depot. I hope it wins. MoonQuake has a map called dm_invasion that may be the best candidate for win. My map is still 1.5 months from being finished and its my first map so its not even that great.

Apparently dm_depot really isn't very good at all. It lag horrible, plays pretty poorly and the images he supplied have been photoshopped.

a good map shouldn't just look good, as it ain't particularly hard on source. It should play well and smooth and incoporate good mapping techniques.

:o DjBourgeoisie :wink: Im updating my courthouse map, final version will be released in a week or so. Keep an eye out for it on punkassfraggers.com and Ill post it here when its done. Its gotten alot of feedback from the cs community so I'm putting in some minor tweaks etc. It will be called de_courthouse_final Thx for the kind words.

actually, courhouse made it onto one of the most amazing mapping sights ive seen. ill post a link in this reply when i have time to search for it.

I don't have the link but you can find it on csm2.net. Its called de_quebec and at first I thought it was valve map. Good BSP work, very clean.

hmm de quebec is ok, but the geometry is a tad below average, although the bulding is certainly impressive
