Trust me the fog looks flaky. Change it.

Certainly reminds me of Quake, perhaps over-use of the point_spotlight though.

Take note person who made the glassed map. This is a reasonably simple "fun" style map which is also well designed and looks very good.

This realy does look like it would be fun to play.

Awesome concept, I liked your lighting and shadows play a lot...
I think, though, that the places we actually walk on and move in, are not in the same level as autmosphere and brilliant concept of the map. I think you need to level up the geometry and stuff, and then it'll make an unforgettable map. :D

well i have 3 problems with hl2 mapping.

1. I never lear that i should make everything in nodraw FIRST and the paint the textures.

2. compiletime took so long for the map. i think it was something wrong with the editor. it took like 10 min to compile but the compiler said it only took 1 min and 20 sec.

3. Im so used to map for half life 1 and those maps didnt have so much rounded edges and stuff like that.

Still a nice map to me :)

I like the light effects. A bit too much Point_spotlight entities tho... ;)

Frozen concept is nice too.

And yes, no draw texture is your best friend. Very important.

i like it. should try and blend the pink into the sky somehow. make a 3d skybox and put the same fog settings into it.
