Although, Im not a fan of dust remakes, I cant talk badly because my first map was crap. However, i think ive seen this one on JOE.TO forums (Maybe Not Though cause it looked a bit different than the one I saw before). Anyway I think the map looks quite proffesional for your first map. But, some of the hallways are too cubes, You may want to replace that with either pillers or something to make cover in those hallways possilbe. and is it ok to say we have seen enough broken cars? it does suit the theme though, but some maps, no it does not work.

Anyway, maybe you're second work will be... what i like to call... Original besides a sudo-ripoff... although it is not that much of a ripoff.. I belive its time to move away from the ever so popular dust.

Overall nice map, it gets an 8/10 in my book!

about teh lil movie:
- you've seen too many of the old clanmovies (using rhapsody like that)
- ehm average fps 25? hope it's just your pc and not the map itself ^^
- you should've included an overview

But it's a funneh map and well done for a first one :)

Pretty nice indeed.

Few points to check for future maps:
-Models going into the floor...
-Don't put dustmote in tunnels with no bright light source. Their's actually dustmotes everywhere you go in real life, put it takes a direct bright light source for your eyes to seems them. (http://users.pandora.be/SiN/Maps%20en%2 ... -21-79.jpg)
-I suggest you put your wall texture scale between 0.25 and 0.15, because it looks a bit wierd, you kinda need to keep the same level of pixels/unit in your map or it gives a ugly texture effect.

That's my opinion.

Still great map, I like the sun effect and the little streets. Pumpy-shooty fiesta!

:)

your arches look a bit low. Makes corridoors a bit squat.

personally i would have tuched it up a lot before release. You have an arab-graffiti texture or two lying around, one looked really horisontally squished, another looked upside down/back to front. Too many rough edges to be smoothed. More displacement on the floor near walls, better texture blending...

Looks like a decent map, just needs a lot of polishing. you should have tweaked it for a bit longer.
