Playing with bots was intense, I thought this map would be like Fable with lush surrounds but no way to touch them. I was wrong...

Reminds me of Rambo.

Just played a little on a server with 6-8 players, and holy shit this map is amazing. Doesn't feel like CS:S at all, it's like a whole new game. Best custom map I've ever played.

i've played this and it's awesome, if you dont stealth in this map you automaticly die :twisted:

Is it possible for other level designers to use your custom content? because lot's of people could really use this ( like me :P )

Was about to go to bed when I saw this in the spotlight, then saw the screens and now will download and try out, although I will most probably get a low fps.

It is definitely the best custom map I have ever seen (except surf_skyworld, joking kthxx :lol: )...

...Ahem, I think it is inspiring actually, because it shows that it can be done, no more "I won't do a nature-themed part in this map because it just looks bad in source."

I hope you get a job out of this (if that is what you want).

Ah, I just realised you are the guy, I have always looked to your site for inspiration, and I have to say, great web design also, you too?

EDIT 2: Nice website except I just saw the source and saw <table> :smt018 I suppose I can let you off due to the most awesome map :)

Seeing this map makes me happy knowing locations like the forest planet of Endor could be mapped! :-D

That's cool, since Valve doesn't have many trees in Ep 1. I could use them for a forest single player.

Excellent work and terrific optimization making it runs very smoothly despite all of the foliage.

Copy the water texture to put on the ground texture and start the actual "water" a little bit farther out.

Edit: in case anyone else was interested in doing forest type maps, I have a couple of pictures that you could use for textures if you wanted.

Oh man, this map is lush! You did a beautiful job man. I haven't seen a forest this convincing in a source game before. Not only that but the performance is great as well. You must have spent a lot of time optimizing. :smt023

One of (the not the) best looking and playing maps I've seen. Fantastic job man!
