PSP Go Model

Postby mainblz on Wed Feb 16, 2011 5:59 am

Hey, I just started taking college courses on 3D Studio Max. This is my first model I've done from scratch. Its a the new PSP model (PSP-N1001). I honestly respect criticism from the interlopers community more than my instructor. So what do you guys think. Its not for HL2 or anything. Just wanted some thoughts of some other artists.

I would use a lighter background color (like gray) to make it stand out

Thanks for the responses so far. Haven't really done much with the renderer but I figured out how to make it higher res and change the backdrop color. However, I had some trouble with the wire frame. I don't know if you wanted me to render in wire frame, but when I did the wire frame wasn't showing up well with the lighting unless I turned off the alpha channels, which it wont let me save the picture with it off. So I just took a screen capture of the wire frame.

High(er) Res: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a363/Mainblz/psphigherres.jpg
Wirframe Capture: http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a363/Mainblz/pspwireframe.jpg

EDIT
I actually just noticed looking at the higher res image that my vertexes aren't very well rounded off with the texture. Is there an easier way to fix that up other than doing an edit mesh and moving around the vertexes?
