Yeah, I know, rats maps aren't the most popular ones, but nevertheless I want to show you mine. I tried to make the visuals better than in other rats maps, most of them look like from Half Life 1. :D To make it realistic, i didn't use ladders that look like ladders. You can climb up at nerly everthing that looks like it. Tshirt, pants, cables, etc. Because there are too many cables at the Computer, I marked every cable with an "UP" sign. Also, you can jump on any soft object (bed, chair, ...) without getting damage.

All content is 100% selfmade, except for the backbag that made a friend of mine. There is some interaction (camera, sound, etc.) possible in the map, search for it. :D

Best-looking rats map I've seen yet. Fix the download link and I'll check it out :P

Hands down the best rat map I've ever seen. You did amazing model and texture work. The printer made me laugh so hard my sides are sore. Great work!

It has been years since I last played a Rats map, let alone CSS. God I remember how shit they looked but I thought the idea itself was clever and couldn't get enough of them.

Yours looks really good. The only other one that comes close was this rats map set in some guys kitchen. It used photorealistic textures and was so convincing on first glance that I thought it was real.

This map is distressingly good. So, so many fun details. So, so solid and well made.
Just ran around it with a mate and we were kept entertained for almost a whole hour just the two of us exploring and finding stuff. The printer especially made me laugh out loud.
Exceptional work, well worth that 270mb filesize.

I literally think the only thing that could make this any better would be a better navigation mesh. The bots give it a shot, but really don't play well enough to have a game - and they get stuck a lot.

Really, though, this is a sublime map which filled me with memories of the utterly fantastic PADmaps released for the original Elite Force and Quake 3.

@Habboi:
I know this map, realy fun! played it a lot with friends on lan parties. There is one other rats map that realy looks good, found it on gamebanana sometimes, the setting is a small garden.

@pk_hunter:
Yeah, I didn't make navigation meshs. Didn't think of it at all... and you are not the first one who mentions that.^^ Mabye I will give it a try, but I never did this before. It has something to do with the .nav file, doesn't it? Can I generate it and everyone can use it without needing a new .bsp version of the map?

He doesn't need to make a navigation mesh. Bots are inferior and would only be insulting his map if they were to play on it.
