Wavelet: a single packet of vibration.
A single (player) chamber.

This is my entry for the Summer Mapping Initiative, which I thought you guys might have fun with ;)

This map is difficult. Good luck, you will need it.

I guess the map is horribly designed if you need luck to finish it!

That map was amazing in every sense. Absolutely beautiful design. Really refreshing after seeing many maps use the 'clean' test chamber textures. Both the introduction room and the falling roof add a lot to the map

The puzzle was more challenging than most, but not enough to be annoying. The only thing I would have liked to see was that the signs next to the doors/emancipation-grids saying what things activate, would turn blue/orange depending on whether or not they were activated. Gets a bit hard to keep track of what's already powered

That was really tough, right on the edge of challenging and frustrating. I almost gave up at the end, but DID end up completing it properly :) Solid mapping, the level was gorgeous. My only complaint would be that the first faith plate blends in with the floor, and I repeatedly stumbled onto it when I didn't mean to, leading to a lot of unnecessary deaths

Yeah I enjoyed it... though half way through I sent a message to Mr. Happy telling him his puzzle is making me feel like a retard. One helpful hint and I was on my way and solved it on my own.

Overall, like others have said it is beautiful. Most people don't add details like the decay and breaking apart of the room around you. Solid puzzle, very challenging but satisfying once I got it.

TicTac, I kept hitting that faith plate as well. It was totally an oh crap moment. At least there are save points. If you had to redo steps along the way it would really piss me off.

Great Job Happy!!!

Thanks so much for everyone's feedback, and for taking the time to play wavelet.
I have some ideas that are similar but easier and am wanting to make a multi-puzzle 'prequel'

Registered with the site just to vote 5/5. Partially to offset the rather low 3/5, and partially because the map actually deserved it (rounding 4.5 up).

Just played it, it was very good. Difficulty level was just OK, it just takes a bit of sitting and thinking. There's two things that could have been done better:
1) the glass barrier just right of the start - there should be some hint that it will lower when you enable the left laser-socket.
2) lighting changing half-way through the map - I'd like to see that idea expanded further, for example pieces of ceiling revealing more and more light after every puzzle step completed

Overall it was very high quality, without graphical or design faults, and fitting the Portal continuum perfectly.
