Hey! Finally finished my new Scavenge/Survival map for Left 4 Dead 2. You can go here to get Down On The Farm! If you're into (really, really long) WIP threads, you can check that out over here... Check out the screens below, I'd love to hear some comments!

It's got a clean level design to it, and makes me feel cold just looking at it. Reminds me of a enhanced version of the Cod 2 Russian campaign. Good job, if I had L4D2 I would play it gladly.

Did a play through of this

The audio is rebalanced after I die at about 4 minutes, so you can hear me shriek like a housewife at a crockery sale.

Really liking what I see in the video. Kudos to you on all the surrounding themes cause from the looks of it I don't see any noticeable map boarders which is really surprising for a mod map (since usually I can tell on a lot of common ones).

I swear this makes me want to buy this game and play this right now so badly.

Again, thanks guys! First of all, thanks for posting that play-through, Black_Stormy! Here's a question for you guys... Are you all having those shader issues again?! When I went back to finish this map just recently, I realized they were back for me on a new video card that wasn't getting them prior to that... So the shiny cars, as well as some walls and floors in the house and a couple of other things I think, can be made better by switching to medium shaders instead of high or very high. This seems odd to me. I screwed with lighting and cubemaps for hours (if not days!) on this map, and it was great until recently, then this crap started happening again. It used to happen to me all the time with my old Radeon card, but the newer Nvidia card wasn't having the same issues at all. That said, it quite possibly still could be something I did with cubemaps, I think...?! I dunno... If anyone has any thoughts or comments on this, I'd love to hear them! Cheers!

Also, I forgot to mention that I realize how much ouch is still in the nav. Bots get stuck in a bunch of stupid places, even after all the additional work and adding of doors... It's kinda weird, cause it only seems to affect the survivor bots for some reason... I may have to have yet another look at this, but I'm so busy with work right now that it's difficult to find the time and the headspace to get at it!
