Sci-Fi Setpiece - SFM/gmod

I thought I might as well post this here, it's my first public map release!

I've been working on a more expansive map of the same theme for a few years off and on, and I've never actually gotten it to fruition, mostly due to hitting hammer compiler limits. Out of frustration, I created a single room showcase map, and pumped up all the details and angled brushes I could fit. I designed it for taking pretty images and not much else, so the baked lighting is as subtle as I could make it, and there's really nothing beyond the visual here. Compiled in the orangebox engine and designed for use with dynamic lighting, it works smoothly in gmod and SFM.

--Features--
The definition of eye candy, it is a single room looking out into space, attached to a ship that's about 1.5km long. There's enough room behind the glass to put a a model about the size of a truck, and enough room in the skybox to fit a second large model. It's as optimized as possible, and although it might look like 3 rooms, it's designed to be used as one. Most everything outside of the main room was culled.

Compiled in HDR and with high resolution cubemaps for maximum visuals, and everything is packed in the bsp. (Which, with the custom made props, custom textures and decals, weighs in at about 150MB)

Very nice. I particularly like your texture work. Did you make those character models?

The ones in the foreground I helped convert the textures to source from Blacklight: Retribution, the one in the background is a model hack I'm currently working on. That one is mostly scratch textured and from about 5 different sources.
