I have just released Spherical Nightmares, a Half-Life 2: Episode Two single-player mod. Something that started as a "small" school project, estimated to take a couple weeks to finish.. but ended up being a much longer development process. Almost 5 years. But now it's done! :)

Here is the trailer: http://youtu.be/e5fo6KL0zGs

Official website: http://www.sphericalnightmares.com/
ModDB-page: http://www.moddb.com/mods/spherical-nightmares

How to install:

1. Extract to ..\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods\
2. Restart Steam
3. The mod is now listed in your Steam game Library

Looks decent but not perfect, but good work. How long is this?

The normal playtime reported, from the playtests and now, is around 1-2 hours. Depends on how you play it.

No no, I mean it. A lot of problems I had were solved browsing the forum or by posting a question that I would, most of the time, get the answer to. There are also many cool things posted in the pimpage thread that sparks motivation. :[]:

I just played it, great job! I thought the lack of cross-hairs was strange, but it created a neat learning curve, well done. I can see you put a lot of thought into this. And amazing ending! One of my favorites in mod history!

You didn't have a cross-hair? If so, that's a bug I need to fix. Was it off the entire time? I am disabling HUD in the intro cut scene, but it should be back on after that. I will look into this and see if anyone else reports the same issue.

Thanks for the positive comments. :)

Couldn't you have waited to give the suit with the console's give command until after the gman dropped you on the floor?

Not sure what you mean. The HUD is on after the intro level, when the first level is loaded.

I'm, kind of, asking why are you disabling the HUD if there isn't one when the player isn't wearing their suit.

You still have the crosshair even without a suit?

I haven't used view controlling cameras in awhile, but I thought they naturally disabled the little plus sign crosshair, but not health and ammo indicators. I'm probably just being a noob and wasting everyone's time.
