An underwater hotel near Dubai is being reconstructed and the terrorists are back again to guarantee an end to the plans again as their fathers done so many years ago. Be the Terrorists and bring glory to your group or be the Counter-Terrorists who scuba dived to assess the situation.


Hey guys, I released my map for CSGO a few days ago called Depths. This map was done in about two months of work on weekdays. It started as regular hotel named Neptune's Grotto but I decided to put it under the ocean, my inspiration was my own, I never have played the GOW games and Bioshock. But I am happy with how the map turned out. If anyone has any suggestions or criticism, I'd be glad to take it and adjust the map. Here is the workshop link:

From a purely visual perspective there seem to be some odd architectural choices. There are pillars strangely close to the walls that don't touch the ceiling and the one place you would expect to see some sort of supporting structure (under the points of the archways in shot 1) there's nothing at all. Also, the refraction effect on the glass makes it look as though it's just raining outside, as in actual fact you'd only get refraction from the surface of the water.

Thanks for your comments. The pillars in the hallway are for decoration. And I did have pillars inside the projector room under the arches but they made the bomb site too cluttered.

I will look into the refractions on the window.
