regarding size

After having about 12 people play the map on the server without letting anyone know that it was my design...people liked it. The version I created without the sewer, which in turn....reduced the file size down to 3.5 vs. the original size 6mb. No issues, no attitude on the layout. No responce, just people playing the map for 20 minutes as if it was a map they played since the game came out. glad to make something that works...i'm not nipper. but hopefully i'll get there.

although with a bit of touching up (sloping the sides and lowering the water level) the sewer would have looked so nice... i was really pleased with the lighting you had in there aswell

Looks good. A bit dark for people like me who have gamma-imparied monitors.

Also: I always thought aim_ maps were small, fy_ type maps?

I'll take your 7.5 since this was my first map ever in HL.

I would've actually given it a lower score but this is your first so what can I say. I shouldn't really be rating anybodys maps right now seeing as how I can't play HL2 or CSS on my comp. So I'm just going by my experience and giving a ballpark estimate from the pics.

Not really. I can't stand my own maps. I'm always finding problems with them and I never really get to the point where I can enjoy the map without finding something else I don't like about them. If I can ever get hammer to stop fucking with me I could post some pics of the DoD I was working on. I made made half of a DoD map that will fill up the entire grid in about 3 days. I have know idea how I managed to map so fast but somehow I did. It even freaked me out.
