Story: You are in a combine outpost with your group, and have a reasearch lab underground, to see if some new "specie" is found. Then suddenly the "specie" comes to attack , because the combine has its mother

HOW TO INSTALL:

Extract antlion_outpostb2.bsp TO: C:\Program\Steam\SteamApps\(YOURNAME)\half-life 2\hl2\maps

HOW TO START THE GAME:
Start up HL2 bring up console § and write map antlion_outpostb2

Remember, this is my first map ever created, and i have got some good ideas for the future versions

final version will have missions, and the map will be epic, with barricades along to another fort to press a button to win

aye saw this one on hl2world, twas ok but you need to learn the meaning of displacement
(although it is nice to know that someone put my advanced fog tut to relative good use)

so this is basicly a reqorking of antlion troopers? By no means a bad thing i think its quite fun. my only suggestion would be to work on the layout at the moment it looks a bit thin and random.

i know... i have my BETA 2 ready and its filled with things and much better, and displacments are made, tomorrow i will realese it, so stay tuned! ohh and i also loved RomeoJGuy's work from antlion_troopers, but i thought it was too small, so why not make one yourself?

This is excatly what im thinking. I know a lot of people will say (omg its a copy) but hats just stupid its a fun scenario why not improve it and make your own. And yes the original was way too small and ot enough ammo for the other guns

also consider a 3dsky box to make it look like the the playing areas goes on for ever. at the moment it look like a big sandy plane floating in space. This site has a very good tutorial for it

just a tip to improve ya mapping:
1: the second screenshot, im pretty sure, bricks aren't flat so just make it so the bricks go around the corner. Be aware of which textures you use and how they fit together.
2: always try to have something other than fog and enemies visible in screen always, makes map seem hollow and empty if all there is is fig and people.
