'Twas a joke. :p

Obviously they didn't really throw a man into a shredder while filming it. I had initially wrote a paragraph about what I saw was wrong with it, looking at it frame by frame. Then I deleted it all and settled for "shopped."

Yeah it does look really silly to be honest. He sort of just disappears. You'd think the machine would struggle a bit as his body fed through the wheels. You have to give them props though, it's probably THE best meat grinder death in cinema history. I mean, after watching the last Final Destination movie, I couldn't help but be disappointed with that escalator death scene being so...not violent...

But I mean...could you imagine falling in to one of those feet first? Worst. Death. EVER. Thinking about it just scares the shit out of me.

I'm also afraid of laser beams after seeing the first Resident Evil movie. I was pretty young at the time and couldn't handle gore at all so it traumatized me I think.

So I forgot to start a battle last Friday, my bad. I'll definitely start the next one this Fiday (probably) . Was thinking about going with 'sports', in light of the recent tie/win (same thing right) of a certain game involving feet and balls (lol).

Either that or fucking HIGH ENERGY. Read up on sprites 'n' shit, because there'd be a lot of texturing/rendering and very little modeling in that. But I guess things like LHC would work.

What say you?

How about 'Destroyed' or 'Garbage' ? Those are interesting topics to model.

I've seen more (real) videos of industrial grinders like that, eating cars, fridges and furniture. All without struggling. A human body should be a mere snack for it.

It works very well for things that are rigid, but I'd like to see what happens when you throw a raw steak into the same machine.

Kinda reminds me of this.

Don't watch it if you have a weak stomach, it's a dead cow being mashed up in a machine similar to the one mashing harddrives. But it should satisfy coder's curiosity :D

Someone needs to make clear shredders so we can see the action better.
