Keep in mind that the next challenge is going to be a poly limit.

How would everyone feel about having a ZBrush/Mudbox challenge eventually?

You mean like only heads or organic figures?

I wouldn't mind, I've been wanting to learn ZBrush.

I don't have ZBrush or another sculpting tool :(

I think we should make the next challenge a longer time-limit, HOWEVER! With a poly limit. That way the entrants can practice for making game-ready models!

I thought I could get into this with the gardening theme, but I've had no time. It would have been my first model anyway, so it would probably take me 2 hours just to make a bucket or a shovel.
If more constraints are added, it will obviously make it more challenging to the experienced modelers, but waaay too difficult for me. Not saying that you shouldn't, but try to keep it accessible :) (for modeling n00bs like me)

Right then, no ZBrush. At least not yet.

So were down to fire/heat, or mech. Given the advice to keep it accessible, I'm more inclined to go with fire/heat. Thoughts?

Honestly i would go for the mech idea but it might be too complicated. I would really like to try modelling the APU from the matrix.

so fire/heat it is I guess?

like you said before mech is way to complicated, the modelling challenge is not doing so well allready so it would be wise to keep it as accessible as possbile :)

Well that's for you guys to decide. I want to start battles that the community will support, otherwise what's the point?

But I'll go ahead and suggest "Comptuers". We all have one, so that should be easy.

I don't have a computer anymore. Mine broke, so I'm driving to the local library to get my interwebs fix :(

April Fools :P
Tea sounds good, though. I'd love to model a mug and a tea-bag :D

Penis could be considered a human flesh tree probably.

What about the tea battle? Or something like food or a specific food group.
