Hey, 904, can you give the winner of this that little "ima winnar" badge? :D

PS, i'm making a cassette tape. about 1 hour in now.

EDIT
What are the maximum amount of renders (not including wireframe) that we can submit?

I think it should be limited to one render and wireframe, but for the rendered submission you can pet several renders on one image.

So a compilation of the renders, to prevent posts that are 10,000 pixels high? :P

Sounds good to me.

If it can be arranged, 904, then I'd absolutely love to have these in the design section. However the sub forum is currently called Speed Challenges, and I'm still planning on having poly limits and such. Seems like it would have to be renamed. Or a separate sub forum for other challenges.

Thanks 904, would you be the moderator then? I doubt Jest@ wants to be.

And here's what I made:

I'm not entering the battle though since that would be a conflict of interest, methinks. I didn't put a lot of effort into it either, made in 1:17 with 9802 polys.

Only a day left in the battle, people. Get crackin.

TeleBuddy 3000, that's a classic!
I wouldnt be too worried about conflict of interest. You might have had a slight advantage, but in the end, if someone happens to have something applicable lying around, it could be entered as well without anyone being able to verify..

RawMeat, can you upload a wireframe, even if you're not entering?

Sourcemaps, to render wireframes (in 3ds max, I assume?) you go to scanline render and then check a box... somewhere... it says force-wireframes.

As a reference I made my renders at 800x600. higher=more detail but larger file.

rawmeat, don't be ridiculous, you can enter. Everyone only gets one vote, I don't see how there could be a conflicting interest :)

EDIT: TicTac, it doesn't really matter, the forum thumbnails them anyway.
