Little late with the poll, but here it finally is. A big thank you to stoopdapoop and source-maps for taking the time out to model something.

But now, on to the entries!

Rawmeat3000 do you think about what you feel like modelling then create a challenge?

Actually I had no idea what to model for this battle until the last second. Even my suggestion of fortification was impulsive and just to get a conversation going. If I relied on the suggestion thread I made to decide what the theme should be we'd never start because no one's been suggesting anything. I have to show people what these battles can be. Prove to everyone that they're worthy of attention. Starting a battle with limited feedback and only a handful of entrants is the only way I can think of to accomplish that. That's why I'm so grateful to stoop and source maps for sticking with this. If you guys weren't around, I would have already quit.

Another one for rawmeat :D

But Sourcemap's model as very clean and had a good clear shape, which I really did like a lot.

But I can tell from his model that rawmeat was really pushing beyond his comfort zone and I can appreciate that, but next time be careful with that subdivision refinement :D

I'm really looking forward to the next battle though, my beard is tingling, I think it's going to be a good one.

I think you should try to get admin-privs for the actual speed-modelling section. that'll draw attention in, and then you could get a spot on the front-page like the map battles :D
