I knew I should have made a rules thread before this battle! Because Ripper_hugme I can't accept that. You can't have your model textured in any way. So none of that red tubing, or the orange fire either.

Rules thread going up today for sure. And I'm ending this one a bit late, going to be Tuesday morning GMT now.

I'll remove them then but there just 3dsmax materials I didn't know they counted.

Sorry guys, I wanted to use the model battles to get into modeling, but no time...
(Wanted to make a not too complicated fire-place though)

yeah, I might not be able squeeze one out this time.

The last time I made a suggestion that got accepted (the "musical instruments" theme) I couldn't get around to submitting an entry either :(

Modeled and rendered in 2 hours, poly count is 10,152.

Ah yes, and the poll for this one is going to be in the freshly named Modelling Challenges subforum. I'm a friggin' moderator now, bitches.

I'll probably start entering these now, my map battle entry is done and I don't think I'll be participating in those anymore.

RawMeat, that looks really good. You should definitely put that in game and release it in the Share Your Models thread if it wouldn't be too hard to UV and texture it.

Didn't see that. He could just bake a normal from that though and make a lower poly version if he wanted to get it in game.

The stairs seem so unlogical... half of the platforms are pratically unaccessible..
Looks good though.

You know I never thought about that. That's a shame.

I think it's about time to end this battle. I'll accept entries for another hour as usual, but once the poll is up, you're boned.
