Ha, a good tip, but I wasn't really concerned with using more space, I was concerned with going to bed :D my texture didn't have much detail in it to begin with, and giving it more space would be relatively fuitless. But I knew that if I didn't finish my entry right then, then I wouldn't get around to it before the deadline (like what happened with my spaceship :( )

If I really made UV maps like that then I'd deserve to be shot :) more space was not used, than was actually used.
