City_22 for CSS

Postby sebastos on Sun Jan 02, 2005 1:15 pm

I was blown away by the fun you can have in City 17 , so i tried to make a little part of a self-made city for CSS

here you can see the result
the map is not yet 100% done ( 80% or something) but you can already download it
Some guy told me there will come a server who is still on cs 1.6, but it will soon be transferred to CSS
they maybe want to hoste my map
here are some picks

s'ok, but your rubble pile looks fugly, try adding more rubbliness to the rubble pile with displacements, also use the rubble texture, it works much better

It's ok but the building textures are horrible. Buildings are not just endless patters on bricks with a few windows. There are some building textures in hammer you should have a look at.

Well to put it simply then. its all there it looks good. Just needs a bit of spit and polished and you have a pretty good map.
