For the buildings..... wait till it is finished. I have some things in mind, that let it look really great and unique. I have some artworks on paper, that are waiting to be "HAMMERED" !!!!!!

Looking nice. Is it all outdoors? If no, can we see some interior screens.

No, it is both. The indoor scene is still heavy under construction, but it already looks very nice. I have used some specialiced lightning effects indoor (indirect lightning). I am also planning to integrate some traps, to make the map fun playing.....

i was playing on that map that Chris_D from hl2.net made a while back, and even he admitted that he got bad lag regularly from his map

and thats about 30% water

every water map i go on there is terrible lag, i even end up flying through the air! it makes it a terrible gaming experience

again cyberblast, you have a magical source engine build which doesnt require cubemaps. Infamous water lagg is not a problem and the gman wear a tutu

Hey! how'd you know that about gman? Well anyway I asked if anyone had problems with the water but they hadn't, but this might be explained by the fact that my water has no surface? (it's still not working) it's alot easier to render a void than a reflective surface I guess. What exactly gives this lag, wich aspect of the water?
