Very cool for a first map. Let me start and suggest that it looks like you a make box and then built inside that, try not to limit yourself to box designs. I, most of the time start my building or main feature first then build box/seal off my level. Its hard to break out of your box when you have all the stuff setup and then you decide you want go under or make hallway then you have to modify your seal/box.
Now that you got the basics down, I recommned you hand draw your layout, taking into account gameplay at this point, like who can shoot from where and when, timing for choke points is must.
Use displacement mapping for the ground, make that grass with a little roll.
Think about your textures too, the building looks fake all in the same texture, do the floors and roof for starters.

I suggest that you don't release this and use it purely for practice. Its nice to see that you can use some entities and also subdivide by the look of those pillars. Also you appear to be able to use either the vertex manipulation tool or the clip tool. Keep practicing, and welcome to the forums :D

W00t, loads better then my first map.

Anyway, it's not going to be playable in any fashionable way, obviously, but it's still a very good map for starting out I can see :).

The archway you got there leading in to the displacement tunnel should really be more detailed. I say use either displacements or the arch tool to generate some funkier roundingoff. Or you can do it by hand with brushes if you feel like it.

If you use the arch tool or do it by hand, though, don't forget to tie it to a func_detail when you're done.
